(Merchants@) Integration
Amazon is the leading marketplace for high-quality,
fixed-price products with a loyal customer base
of over 50 million consumers in the U.S. alone that
are looking for an easy, convenient and secure shopping
experience.
Amazon supports two distinct means to offer your
products to consumers:
Amazon Marketplace is available for product
categories that are well defined with widely-available
product catalogs (such as books, DVDs and CDs).
Rather than defining a product, sellers simply align
their item with an existing SKU and specify the
quantity, price, condition and shipping options.
Amazon Seller Central (often referred
to as Amazon Merchants@) enables merchants to create
and describe products not offered on Amazon for
most "unstructured" categories on Amazon (such as
Consumer Electronics, Home & Garden, Toys and Apparel).
Additionally, sellers have a branded store presence
on Amazon that shows all items for sale.
Amazon Seller Central's power to define products
requires that merchants carefully and exhaustively
provide product attributes to allow accurate classification
and display to buyers. As a result, Amazon's and
R.C. Custom Solutions requirements for Seller Central
include the configuration, testing and launch of
products throughout a multi-week process.
Highlights of the R.C. Custom Solutions Amazon
